My Family’s Trip to VINS

There are a few reasons why we went to VINS.

Reason one is because you get to learn science to study what birds do.

Reason two is there was a trail made of wood one hundred feet in the air.  It was made of metal too, and there was a mile-long trail there.

Reason three is you get to see lots of birds like the falcon.  The falcon can see everything around it, and so can the hawk.  That is pretty cool if I do say so myself.

Reason four is there is a huge gift shop that has wallets.  It has stuffies.  It has bird stuffies and binoculars.  They have books, magazines, and sunglasses.

These are just a few of the reasons why I would encourage you to visit VINS.

Derek Jeter

My name is Derek Jeter.  When I was little, I always wanted to be a pro baseball player.  I would practice every single day.

Then one day when I was 38 years old, I became a major league pro.

I played for the Yankees.  Years later, I retired.  When I was in my forties I retired.

I was a really good pro baseball player.  I am still alive today.  Peace.

Slam!  Crack!  Pop!  These were the sounds I heard at the baseball games my family went to this summer.  I went to one night game and one day game.

The first game I went to was during the day in Colorado.  The Rockies played.  While we were there, I ate French fries with ketchup.  I saw a few home runs, and I got a hat and a shirt with one of the best center fielders, Charlie Blackmon’s name on it.

The other game I went to was at night in Charlotte, North Carolina.  I was there with friends and family.  We had Dippin’ Dots and French fries.  I also had one of the practice coaches give me a ball that the team used to get ready for the game.

Both of these games were awesome, and I will never forget this summer.
